Job description

• You read and interpret assumptions, specifications and drawings
• You handle the price request for materials, services and components to be used and other subcontracts, including conservation, crane assistance and transportation
• You assess and review work sites and project conditions
• You calculate capacity in terms of hours for production, assembly and other disciplines. This in consultation with the welding coordinator and foreman
• You take care of the cost estimate for project requests and/or tenders
• You consult with management to determine the tender or sales price
• You are partly responsible for preparing tenders
• You transfer the assignment to the project manager
• You operate and organize matters according to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and VCA-P standards
• You attend information sessions of clients on behalf of the organization
• You contribute to the improvement of the processes, where possible

Who are we looking for?

• You hold an MBO or HBO degree in the direction of Mechanical or civil Engineering
• You preferably have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• You have experience with the calculation of steel related constructions
• You have knowledge of and experience with reading constriction drawings
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
• You are familiar with the Microsoft Office package
• You are critical, accurate and innovative. You don’t see a problem but a challenge and think in solutions
